Sheikh Ali Abdullah Jaber is a Quran reciter with one of the most beautiful voices in this field. He was born in Dhu al-Hijjah 1373 AH (1979 AD) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
He served as the Imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, where he delighted millions of Muslims with his melodious recitations that moved the hearts. Sheikh Ali Jaber remained the Imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca until 1989 AD.
He passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 AD, corresponding to Dhu al-Qi'dah 12, 1426 AH (1979 AD) in Jeddah.
